DEPOSITS

Once approved for an Idlewild puppy, we request a $250.00 deposit to reserve and hold a puppy. Puppy pick is in order of deposit received. You will choose your puppy (with our help) on the day you are scheduled to pick up your puppy. Anyone who is using pet transport or who cannot come on scheduled day can pick by picture, or I will choose for you. Deposit is then deducted from total price due upon puppy pick-up. Because I reserve a puppy for you (and turn away other potential families) your deposit is non-refundable unless we do not get sex requested in which case your deposit will carry over to the next litter or be refunded to you. When your check arrives I will send you an email comfirmation that you are on the list, and advise of what number you are in the pick order. Puppy visits are for depositors ONLY, and can begin only after pups have had their first shot, at 6 weeks of age.

We always reserve the right to hold first litter pick male and female for our show/breeding program. Customer deposit order is ALWAYS with the understanding we may keep puppy(s) from any given litter.

I have updated the grid with checks, some of which we have had for quite some time. PLEASE let me know if you wish to be taken off the list due to wait time or obligations, OR if I inadvertently left off your deposit. The grid is always a work in progress!

SHIPPING

For door-to-door personalized pet transport east of the Mississippi ( usually for the same price or less than flying ) we can now recommend Polly's Pet Transport, out of Hickory, NC. She has weekly sch edules; more information and rates can be found here: www.pollyspettransport.com

We currently use Delta PetFirst for shipping. Charge for shipping is currently $375.00, and includes airfare, Health certificate, travel crate and transportation to the airport.

PRICES

The standard price for new depositors of Idlewild's puppies is $1350.00 for pet. This includes our comprehensive written Health guarantee and Puppy Packet, dog food sample, Nu-Vet sample, and Health Recommendations.

We will occasionally sell a Full registration puppy to interested Show families, or experienced breeders; prices vary for Full puppies by pedigree, ranking, and physical appearance.
